no licence, speeding etc etc ran a child over and killed him. 8 month in prison.

1) his application was turned down, how did he get to walk free in the country again? What do they do, say no, you can't leave here, please get yourself home and send tehm off with a bottle of water and a twix?

2) Prison to him is probably like a holiday, a little break for him

3) If i did that would i get away with just 9 months? No! i'd get years + loads of fines

I understand your position... We just had an explosion in the Moscow Subways... With at least 50 dead... And it had nothing to do with illegal immigrants or such...

On the other hand -- don't judje. Personally me, I don't know how child get on to the road. On what road? Was child crossing or just going in the middle of the lane? And so on. Maybe it was on the motorway? And british children... It happened once with my relative about six years ago. Group of children. In small town. Was just staing on the walkway. He was not speeding or such. Then suddenly one of these children looking driver in the eyes throws ball literally under the wheels and jumps after the ball. INTENSIONALLY. It was some kind of "dare" game for this children! And only pure luck saved this child from death and my relative from prison. And he was going with his wife to Lake district for honeymoon! So... Don't judge.
And, BTW, being illegal immigrant, speeding and killing somebody are three different crimes and being illegal immigrant is not a factor when judjing some road offence. And maybe the only reason that guy ended in prison was speeding. I know one guy who had five or six accidents with pedestrians. Two or three of them died. And that guy was the most careful driver I've ever seen in my life! And in every accident he was not guilty!

personally i think the guy should have got longer, maybe they could not translate 8 years, they only knew the word for months so they thought "fook it" just give him 8 mths.......NEXT!

i agree totally it may not have been the drivers fault, but people will still argue if he was doing the 30 speed limit not 50 the child would be alive. If he had not been an illegal immagrant he probably would have stopped and helped instead of driving off and although you say the motoring offence is seperate to him being a criminal the decicion about the sentance served is at teh end of the day made by humans! I feel that in this country if an honest motorist had done this sort of thing and it was the childs fault the charge would still have been more like man slaughter for the death of the child!

I feel for the families in Moscow, i think this sort of thing is a cowardly act

Someone already mentioned Hitler. The shocking atrocities of 30's and 40's Nazi Germany affected millions of Jewish people who were seen as immegrants into the "homeland". The same feeling towards the imigrant population of this country is now running out of control.The feeling of jobs being lost to cheaper labour - not just illegal by the way - is a cause for concern.
The once lucrative IT industry in the UK is in disarray due mainly to the cheap import of technical resource in the early 90's and now of course the majority of call centres being moved to the sub continent (Norwich Union, Admiral Insurance, Prudential etc etc) has caused a large voice to start to become angry at the situation - this is not racism, this is anger at personal situations and why it had been caused.
Another issue is one of suppression - or "Political Correctness" - you are not allowed to state your cause, case or mind now because of this.
All of this starts to spread quiet anger which is vented at the first excuse - as in this thread for instance. We used to be tolerant of refugees coming to this country, but not any more because the majority of non deserving cases have been very badly handled especially since 1997 and the Labour government.
I hate to say this, but I fear that there will be a horrifick conclusion to this by the year 2020, when the white anglo saxon race is the minority in this country and through mis-rule a far right party with more extreme views than the BNP will sweep to rule.
This is no longer and issue being confronted by the hooligan element such as C18 or the NF, this is middle class and the ex-upwardly mobile of the 80's and 90's getting pissed off.
Before anyone jumps on me, no I am not individually racist as any of the people who have met me will confirm, however I do reserve a right to say what I like about whom I like and when I like, be they white, black, brown, Welsh, Scottish or even a Romanian C***T. This is just my view of the situation and what may happen in the future.

Substitute the term Illegal Entrant for Economic Migrant and you're much closer to the truth.

An illegal entrant turns up at Calais and the French Port Authority Guard asks him what he wants. He replies, "I want free food, heating, clothing and accomodation", the border guard has a think to himself then says to the Illega, "Sorry, but you've got to go to England for that."

i agree, a cleaver and perhaps daring person could easily become leader, everyone thinks bad of the current situation but noone dares stand up and say it due to fear of being singled out as a racist etc. If people see someone else stand up they will soon follow in flocks!
