If you didn't own Bravo/s's....................

Since i have two cars Toyota Supra and and a bravo i'd sell em both get a loan and treat myself to an alfa SZ. Not a super quick car but the looks are well ahead of it's time imo.

In 1 year i would have payed for the mistakes i made when I was younger and stupid, until then I am cursed to stay as I am. I ended up paying the equivilent price of a £26,000 car because i WAS stupid and yes if I hadn't, no i wouldnt be on my second HGT, and be paying a mortgage equivilent for a car!

I have two cars by the way, one is being restored and is more my kind of car, an idea for you.

1979 Porsche Carrera GT - my baby!

zenith i will be getting a dc5 integra or an rx8 for my next car for sure. already started my hunt. im looking for a damaged repairable

insurance on a rx8 is the same as my 1.6 i dont get it but i aint complaining

I have just put the "For Sale" signs up on my Bravo (51) jtd so my ideal car would be an Alfa GT jtd. Unfortunately they are still too dear so it will have to be a new Stilo jtd Sporting(3-door of course!) or a year old Alfa 147 or 156 Sportwagon jtd. I need a hatch and I can get a 156 Sportwagon jtd for about the same as a 147 of similar age. Might even manage a 2.4 Multijet for my 12K budget.

If I was doing less miles I would probably go for a late pre-facelift GTV V6. (Only recent Alfa facelift that dindn't quite work IMHO)

fiat punto gt or celica

i'm a little embarrased to say this but i was going to buy a megane coupe, however i didn't fit in it so got the bravo

It would have to be a Chavved up Cavalier SRi for me, in the obligatory white and rust trim.

Serioulsly; it would have to be the 147 GTA in metallich white. I suppose robbing a bank would have to be the finance deal though!

the pearl white Rog ;) good choice ;)

I saw one the other week on my way to Newcastle and i was trhat impressed with it that I put a post on this Forum about it.

Prettiest car I have seen in years.

Apart from my 145('s) of couirse!

Seat Leon TDI/ Seat Ibiza 1.9 tdi......... sat in a Citroen C2 the other week but it was like sitting in a biscuit tin - awfully cheap and nasty !!

Or I would like an Alfa, brand new and 2L please Father Christmas !

Leons's seem to be the "choice preferez" in place of Bravo's.

megane vs Bravo, I was SO close to making that decision.

I look at them now and their interiors have dated so badly. All a bit too blancmangey.

nissan 350z

nissan 350z if i had 20k to blow

otherwise a bravo jtd......say David your selling yours, post the spec on here, you might get a bite

Er, what's wrong with my choices?

Some people on here may seem to have endless amounts of disposable cash to throw away on their Bravo but there are some of here that blatently don't. So naturally, the cars I listed to the original question were suitable to my situation.

Cars listed were practical and cheap. To be honest tho, I think even if I did have the money I wouldn't get anything much different to that listed. Why? As long as the car is tidy in appearance then thats good enough for me. I don't wanna travel at warp speed everywhere so I'm happy with practical choices.

Imagination? BGR didn't ask for that.
