Still needs improvement

Have to be Audi A3 3.2 V6 Quattro DSG. Must be one of the quickest hatches ever made with 250bhp, but in a discreet package. Also has an amazing sequential gearbox.

Evo 8 or rx 7.

Not sure the service might be a bit much on the rx 7.

I'd prolly be driving one of the following:

Rover 200 BRM or any top end R200
Ford Escort 1.8 Si
Fiat Punto Sporting

Prolly would be aiming for a Rover 200 mind you.

Dec '97 1.8GT / 113,000 miles (New engine @ 77,000)
Current Status: Brill :)

If I didn't have the Bravo I'd spend all my time riding the GF.

Regards

Conrad

PS. She is SOOO happy I bought the car! :)

I was actually searching high and low for a Fiat Tipo Sedicivalvole (16v) (Pre-facelift), but could not find one in reasonable condition.

I would still love to have one, but the Bravo fits the bill as it is good looking, more advanced than the Tipo and probably cheaper to run. As well as being a Fiat!

I'd love a Lancia Integrale Evo 2, or a Saab 9-3 Viggen with a Hirsch performance kit, but I'll keep dreaming.

An Alfa Romeo 147 GTA in ice white is also a tasty alternative....

Rover 200? Ford Escort??!!

I know BGR said take the reality factor into account, but show a bit of imagination!

Vauxhall Nova in the mighty 1.2lt Merit format.

I gave it to my gf when I got the bravo. She'd have to walk when I took it back off her

A Harrier Jump Jet, that way i could also utilise multi storey car parks and not worry about someone denting my door, as it has none! plus I think it runs on egg whites

hmmm, if people didn't drive Bravo/a's they would be driving TVR Tuscans, Evo's and RX-7/8's, err yeah right...

For me it would probably be a Peugeot 306 or Saxo VTR. Or maybe an old MR2 provided I could sort the insurance, i.e. non turbo.

You know nothing about me, what i do for a living, my age, my likes, so how can you diss what I or anyone else has put down for a car?

Ive just bought an Alfa 3.0 GTV...so much better than the HGT it hurts! It really does sound like a ferrari with its metallic rasp. Now i know what torque is too ;)

Mind you i did like the HGT and it is stonking good value these days!

Yes thats right Zenith if i had brought another car but me hgt i would of sold it and got me evo 8 by now.

If you could afford to buy, run and insure a £22,000 minumum, TVR Tuscan then why are you driving a Bravo/a?

If you could then I apologise but I just don't believe it. This thread is supposed to ask what car you would be driving if the Bravo/a range hadn't been available at the time.

Are you telling me you chose a Bravo/a over a TVR Tuscan? Gimme a break. I didn't say you didn't like them but at the time I was buying my Bravo I wasn't comparing it to supercars.
