Technical Ideal car stereo

Hi I have just bought a 2006 fiat grande Punto active and I want to put in a new radio where I can connect my iPhone to through USB or aux... Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be the best car stereo to get that will fit?

There is quite a few good cheap stereos at Halfords currently and I'm really tempted myself with them, I just do t want to pay the extra to have the steering wheel controls working

I had a JVC headunit that I installed in my old Hyundai and it was the bomb!

I would always recommend JVC after using that headunit

I got it from halfords for £40 and that was years ago. It didn't have USB but it did have aux

Why don't you just buy the cable that connects to the back of the stereo unit already in the car that then allows a direct connection to an Iphone. Steering wheel controls still work as well.

To do that the car must not have blue and me. Also you won't be able to change tracks with the steering wheel controls. Only volume up and down
