Hi,
I got a mobile hands-free kit for free, so I'm trying to work out how to fit it in my Bravo SX, and wire it up to the AD182H radio.
The kit needs minimum 3 connections:
1) Power +12V
2) Earth
3) Ignition sense
Additionally I was planning to use these features:
4) Radio mute
5) Phone sound to radio, to use standard speakers (signal and signal-ground).
The first three are easy, I can hook my handsfree kit
up in parallel on the connectors on the back of the radio.
I thought 4) and 5) would be just as easy, since when I was looking at Alfanige's radio wiring guide on http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/ICE, it shows connectors for exactly those features..
Unfortunately it seems my radio differs from the
one shown in the scanned pictures (Sorry Nige.. I did it again...
)
Here's a picture of the label in the bottom of the radio showing the connectors that are present in the plugs.
Looking at the bottom plug, I can work out the 4 connectors that are wired up, but there is one extra in a position where there isn't one in the picture on Nige's page.
In the top plug its only the pins for the CD-changer that are present, and none of the pins for the "advanced" features are there.
I'm quite puzzled about this, so it would be great if anyone could help by shedding some light on this mystery?
Any ICE masters out there?
Thanks!
Ove
