Well the wood work is pretty much done! Here are some pics, just got to carpet it, fit the electronics and wire it to the car! oh, and fit the front components and run a wire, which i have been putting off! lol

alan, that's looking really good mate! i've been thinking about just sticking a sub and amp in, along with my disc changer that's in there already, but this is spurring me on to do something useful, cos this looks quality!

let us see it when it's carpeted... are you going for any funky colours or?

Nice job,
Do you think heat might be a problem?
Those maplins inverters recommend 50cm clearance behind for the fan, considering this is going to be shut in a box with two amps warming it, do you forsee any problems.

Well, I ordered my JL 500/1 Amp today.. But after seeing that I could of got a 1000/1 for just £150 more, I'm thinking about selling it already

Then obviously ditching my JL15W0 and getting either two 12W6's or 13W7's.

Now summer is approaching, it's time for cruisin with windows down and tunes pumpin' (obviously with burberry cap)

May just stick another 15W0 in for the time being.

Also got my new components, Focal 'Access' 130CA. Two sets of these and it's sounding the ******** already.

Hmm.. Anyone fancy making me a double box?

One in the door cards, one in the rear speaker wells, where the originals used to be.

no 6X9's as I've found out they're a waste of time.

Aidey, you will need to do a search on the forums and perhaps contact one of the members.
One of the admins Cappy was doing a group buy sometime ago, so he may have some left or at least point you in the right direction

Is that a good thing or bad?

Since I've been on this Forum and I've been reading your posts on ICE I learnt a lot. I've realised that 6X9's are a total waste of time and a decent set of door speakers are the way to go.

I'm not sure if the speakers I have bought are exactly top of the range, but they do sound bloody good when amped with a full clear no clipped singal at 75W RMS.

Should I have a set of door speakers in the rear wells or not? Both of the speakers, front and rear are now amped at 75W Rms each per speaker.
