But I did, and landed home with it tonight

A 94 CLX 1000 fire to be precise. Worse still I bought it in the dark. However I did check the doors and they are 100%. Can't say the same for the fuel pump as it needs a new one.
So a new plan is now hatched. I'm going to turn this one (it actually has an MOt to August) into the van when Rele sends me over the bits I need (y) then I'm going back to plan A and using the French Panda as the parts car to help get all 3 others looking shipshape.
Anyway it was dark and wet outside but did manage to take a couple of pics.
Oh wait, I need to upload them, back in a mo.

I'm sure non of you are interested but here's the photos anyway.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll find out tomorrow in the daylight just how good/bad things are. I see speakers in the dash so I'm wondering if it has a radio. Oh and it has a glass sunroof to.

Stu you can expect a package for blue panda, sometime next week I hope;)

WOOHOO Rele, thank you. Can't wait to get them now I have the right car for it.

Another one lined up for the Stu treatment.. can't be a bad thing!

Cheers,

Plug

Thanks Plug. This is a project I've been wanting to do for a long time now. I hope to get the car in the garage on Sat.

I did get up on sat morning with intention of buying it! But i decided to go look for a new motorbike. I tried to talk myself into ringing him on sun but i was in no condition to look at anything

I had a feeling you would end up with it if i didnt

I suppose when you think about it, it more than likely was going to be you Jim, Steve or me.

I got it running today, I changed the fuel pump (a pain to do) out of the french car and then discovered the fuel line was clean split and the fuel was pumping straight out.
It does have a few issues, I think it needs a front wheel bearing, the drivers door won't open from the inside, the drivers window mech is broke, the air box is held together with a cable tie, but there is a CD radio and 4 speakers and it works.

Hi Stu
O.k here are some pics, the bigger is the problem it is over size
I'll try to mark for You how they measure it
Ignore the smallest one
Line no1- goes all around-caliber-volume.. and + line no2-the longest side, their sum must be less or = than 3 meters:bang::bang::bang:
I can only try to remove the barrier that separating front from back of the car.
