I PULLED AS WELL!!!!!!but i got 2 of them

I got pulled twice!!!!!!!

once for having my fog lights on!And got a £30 fine!!! (ok its not got any points and £30 aint going to kill me, but this is £30 i had to pay for the privilege of fog lights!)

then i got pulled over because the police officer believed i was under the influence of alcohol!!(********)

both times i had to breath through a breathalyser, i should also say this was on a 5 MIN JOURNEY from one side of my little town to the other!!!

If any police are using this website please explain why pulling me over and giving me a ticket over such a petty thing is more important then things like drugs/rape and assault!!! no offence but i think some1 at the top of the police force should be priortise the officers time better!!!

As you can tell i aint best pleased-and would have used more abusive ways to describe the very kind police officers but i dont know who is listening, and i dont hate them i hate thier job!!!!!!!!!

P.S.Breathalyser read zero both times!!!just thought i say.

Yes, they could be doing better things with their time but... Fog Lights!!! Was it foggy?

bling bling westside, fogs go wicked with those l33t chrome m3 mirrors and the "turbo" sticker on the back, i suspect these will be your next mods ?

i am glad you got a £30 fine, if i were a police officer i would pull every idiot that drives with fogs on, there is no reason for it, and i promise if i pulled anyone for haveing fogs i would ispect the car with a fine toothcomb for other faults and stitch the driver up as much as possable.

i know, i know lots of people think people driving with fogs on are w**kers- it wasn't foggy but it wasn't perfect driving conditions...

i appreciate that alot of people will now ignore my posts but i quite like having my fogs on as i think they look good on the bravo and will jump at every excuse to slap them on.

Sorry people, it wasn't my rear fog if that is any consolation...

but even the people who will now disregard me as a member must agree that £30 for such a silly thing isnt justified.

Sorry about the 1st post i was a bit angry still, and sorry to those who now will no longer will talk to me- i am only a stupid 18year old!!lol

sorry dident mean to get on my high horse, lol but it is a pet hate of mine, i see it so bloddy often and it drives me mad, i just whack full beam on and see how they like to be blinded on the roads..tossers

you would think that the description was pretty clear FOG lights they arnt called DARK lights or SUNSET lights they are called FOG lights !!!! doesent take a genious to work out what they are fior and when to use them sigh these are the same people that buy a solar powered device and complain that it doesent work at night, madness !

ohh and the excuse of "they improve vision" is ********, they don't improve vission in town driving, hence they are fog lights and not town driving lights.

i can appreciate the fact that you dont like people who drive with fogs on... how ever i personally think they look ok. sorry if i have offended you Bahney, they did go over my car with a fine tooth comb but couldn't find a thing wrong with my car!(other than the fogs)

How ever i am not the same kind of tosser as you think i am (again apart from the fogs) i to hate the tossers who put turbo sticks and crome M3 mirrors!

In fairness though i do still drive a bravo so i obviously do have good taste!(LOL)

I expect i will get alot of abuse for this but...

I also think cars look better with thier fogs on.

But before you all slate me...I DO NOT drive with my fogs on (anymore)..i have more respect for other road users.

p.s. What is wrong with a turbo sticker???...lol

I was under the impression that the front fogs as they have been referred too, were in fact actually driving lamps..and yes there is a difference...and that these lamps could be used legally at any time, as the deflection of the beam actually goes outboard on either side, thus giving increased visability especially in country roads and such like..
Maybe im talking complete B*****ks no doubt people will think so anyway....and if you had informed the officer that they were driving lamps you probably would have got away with it, whether they are or not as he/she wouldn't have known..

Nope, driving lamps are to supplement full-beam headlights, not dipped beam, and are worse than fogs! Driving lights have to be connected up to the full-beam feed so they won't work otherwise.

They are for use on unlit A roads etc. but the same as your full-beam lights are, i.e. not with oncoming traffic.

Fog lights are for use in fog, NOT when it's a bit misty in the morning, or if it's raining, or dark, and certainly not "cause it makes the car look nice", go buy a Forder-Price My First Ka ! People who know what a "pea-souper" is know what fog is, when you can't see the road just in front of the bumper let alone the car in front. 11 years of driving >150,000 miles and i've driven in real fog about 4/5 times.

Can you tell I don't like fog lights, oops, rant over

They are definately not driving lights, they are the big things you get on the front of rally cars stuck on the bonnet and are only on with full beam lights thus are not a problem to other drivers.

I think everyone would agree that almost all cars look better with log lights on but you have weigh that against blinding other road users and being called a ****/****** by everone who sees you driving, we don't want bravo drivers to get the same kind of rep that BMW drivers (******s!) have now do we.

according to my dad, REAL fog is when you have to drive along white lines on the road cos you can see little else.

mind you, as i've said before, if you use fog lights in those conditions, you'll end up with snow blindness!

Driving lamps are what most people call spot lights and, as stated earlier, are to supplement main beam!
