Two years ago I bought Uno, everything works great except brakes. When I bought it, only right front brake worked like it should, at left side there was a problem with flexible hose (not returning fluid), rear brakes were not working at all (broken regulator). Rear brakes are still not working, left flexible hose was replaced.
I decided to keep this car for next two years as it's working great (I made 35.000km with no problems) but I really need to fix rear brakes. Now I have some free time, so I bought new regulator and started with work. I was spraying line fittings with spray for rusty bolts but I couldn't loosen them. After 2 hours I ended with one rounded fitting :bang:. I tried also with vice grips, no luck.
What should I do to loosen them? They are very rusty and bolted into aluminium.
Should I use welder and grinder to repair the head?
Is it possible that there is something else broken, not the regulator?
