I cant see how a switchable 2WD/4WD system would work...unless both engines were linked to the same gearbox, then that handled taking power to the wheels.
Twin engined 2CV? That would be surreal, elaborate James!!
One was featured in practical classics a while back, it was a crude solution to providing 4wheel drive, I think each engine was around 12bhp or something.
A bit what???!!! Ok some are but I dont think dull is the word that springs to mind when you see the BMW M5, Merc E55, Audi RS6 oh and that newish Merc CL65 (twin turbo V8 :worship: )
A twin engined 2cv was featured in Colin McRae Rally 4. It was poo but was a good car to give to newbies of the game. The Punto in the game was also shockingly bad, i used the MG as my 2wd car of choice and subaru or focus as 4wd. Prob with the focus was it had a longer bonnet and i kept cutting corners to tight and wrapping the front round trees.
german cars are ok apart from BMW that are common pieces of sh*te IMO.
Porsche are ok but there not for people that want a real super car theyve got to much electronics and traction controls, etc to tame it, where as if you buy a TVR, Marcos or Noble you get none of those luxurys just a light weight car with an engine producing a raw amount of power. Give me a TVR over a Porsche anyday
