Bit expensive arn't they? £20 for a switch? Or am i just tight?

Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

They are quite expensive, buy the company always sell stuff quite cheap. Besides it includes delivery and I like the finish.

Dont forget it also comes with relay etc!

Re: Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

I didn't realise it had the relay etc. that's not bad then! where you going to put it?

Re: Re: Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

Honestly, i dunno. I', gonna think long and hard so I dont mess up the dash.

I gotta link it to the original fog light wiring loom.

I have a pair of universal fogs that I bought off ebay. They are a sexy round shape painted in black.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

where are you going to fit those then? If your putting new lights and new switches in why not put all new wiring in as well? Must be easier then finding the original wires?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

The original wires are behind my bumper. Also, I will be able to locate the connectors for the OE switch as it's behind the switch panel on my dash.

The only problem is locating a place for the new switch. Also, I fancy one for engine start.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: I just bought one of these...

Fix them in small box that exactly fits the ashbin. So if you want you can put in sight (just open the ashbin) or out of sight (close it.. Duh..).
Perhaps one little warning for the enigne start button, doesn't exceeds the function of the anti (theft) start mechanism? Because you won't be needing a key anymore, which holds the code for that anti (theft) start mechanism.
Or I'm totally wrong here???

The push button start is a smart mod but i don't think it does the bravo any favours, you will still need to put the key in the ignition to remove the steering lock etc and to turn the ignition on, unless a lot lot of money is spent on solenoids to do all this for you, Also the immobiliser requires the key to be in the ignition to read the chip, so although you won't start it with the key you still need it!

Either that or save up a lot of pennies and get it done professionaly and keeping security still in mind!
