Technical I have replaced RPM sensor on my multipla 1.9 jtd still wont sart

Hi can anyone help me....My car stopped working a couple of weeks ago, engine turning just wouldnt start, after 3 mech stood scratching their heads i decided to look around the internet and came across this site. After alot of reading I rang my guy and asked him to replace the RPM sensor, this he did and low and behold the car started, after the third start in the garage we all had big smiles, however wont start again and hasnt left the garage yet.....any ideas.Please please help and advise.:bang:

Try to use wd40 or some contact spray on connector. I did it and it works!

need to read codes/monitor parameters especially cam sensor.

Had the same problem. Get your local mechanic to clean out the EGR and check the valve movement. Also when he's back there get him to run a resistance check over the glowplugs (in warmer weather not really needed, but still check'em). See that the injectors are clear. Do you have a nice new battery? The Multi loves a good punch to throw the solenoid in.
