1) Can Led lights be fitted to IDEA's ?
2) I have a rattle in tick over, sounds like its something loose?
3) My radio reception is crap! I've bought a new aerial but still crap :)

Any help would be wonderful, thank you

Mark

Your questions are a little vague, perhaps if you add a little more detail someone could help.
1) ?
2) I have what sounds like a tappet rattle on mine, since I believe they are hydraulic no adjustment is possible.
3) I put a new CD/radio in mine which needed packing to prevent it rattling in the dash, but that was always over bumps in the road not on idling. I also recently tried to use MW and the reception was crap, FM is fine no problems, not sure if it is the radio, can't be bothered to remove and try in another setup and possibly have the trouble of returning under gaurantee.

Hi malcolmgb, thank you for your comments.
1) I was wondering if "L.E.D lights" could be fitted to fiat ideas ? I've heard that because they are low powered the computer will shut down the circuit with them fitted. Shame as they will last a very long time.

2) The rattle on tick over, I think it's an engine cover or something like that, it does not not sound mechanical, just something come loose!

3) My radio is the factory fitted CD/radio and therefore does not move. I bought a none genuine aerial and the one on the car was broken, maybe I should buy a genuine one £16 .

My understanding on this is the circuit senses the current used, an LED would use less, the computer then activates a failed bulb warning light not shut down. Since I am not an expert wait for someone to comment further.

A little late on this one, but I have fitted front side LED lights to my Marea and Panda.
No problem, but the body computer senses the low resistance and signals a lamp failure on the dash.............this sign goes off after a couple minutes or less, but the warning light stays on. This applies to the Panda, as the Marea is 10 years old and does not have a computer.

LED's really cheap now, and the light is remarkable.
