yep, I took the plunge and spent a weeks wages on a premium set up 2nd hand (well nearly new).
Had to in the end as my original Xbox has started to go wrong over the last few months
its served me a long time though. Its a modded V1.1/2 (cant remember which) using a Xecuter2 chip on a solderless adaptor housed in a crystal case full of neons . DVD drive has just stopped reading backed up games full stop and is very poor on original disks too. Had to just stick to running everything off my hdd (80gb) instead which I cant really fault. I cant justify throwing any more money at it when the games I want dont look to be released on the original xbox.
I shall still keep the unit for watching films along side my new 360.
Question.
I will want to get the 360 on live at some point in the near future.(the unit is said to never have been used online.)
I currently connect to my original xbox via a ethernet cable to my laptop which is then getting its broadband connection from the wireless router on the other side of the house (so a cable direct to the router from the 360 is a bit out of the question). Should I be able use this setup with my 360?
Problem I've always found with doing that ^^ is that when I've been playing x-link kai etc that the net will not work on my laptop (which p*isses the gf off no end) and I'm stumped on how to get round that.
Any help?
(p.s. anyone know where to get test drive unlimited for cheap cheap?)
