Ok I spent a few hours yesterday in the scorching weather cleaning my car followed by a polish with Autoglym super resin to bring it to its best looking ever. Parked the car in the driveway for a few hours then went to go use it later that night and the car was covered completely in sap. I mean every single inch of the car is now sticky and sap spots everywhere. All that work gone to waste.

So question is.. without having to do a full wash again is there a quick way of removing these sap spots? Will it have ruined the polish already?

Must have really been scorching if the tree was sweating sap!! I would wash it again and this park away from trees, or even buy one of those car covers..

Put a decent wax on after polishing:)

Collinite will give a years protection with one application.

i think a year is pushing it!!

i think srp is great as an all rounder, but make sure you seal it with the extra gloss protection to give it extra protection.

I use collinite's I'd say it lasts about 8 months tops but still the best protection of either Carnauba or Synthetic sealants.

I too have the same problem, only I even cover my car up  But the cover had blown off and now my car is full of Tree spunk (n)
