Hello everyone

need a little help, i thought i would be nice to Bert the Brava anf give him a mini service.

All the usuals Oilchange, new plugs, new tires

Butttt

When i tried to remove the ait filter cover i have rounded 2 of the screws (top & bottom ones)
becuase they where a little rusty

Now i have no idea how i can get them of without damaging the housing.

Anyone had this problems before if so how the hell did you resolve it.

Any help always apreciated

Thanx Chizzle

you can ty and tap a new head into it.

failing that you can select a suitable sized drill bit and drill straight down the middle of the bolt. shouldnt be too hard.

if you have a dremel, you can cut the bolt at the bottom, where it screws in. you'll need to superglue a new nut in at the bottom though.

well, thats what i did on my 1.4 anyway, lol.

Drill off the heads of the screws, remove the upper part of the box - now using pliers unscrew the screw leftovers out of the nuts and buy some new screws. Before fiting new screws, put some grese on them, so they cant rust in.
