It's been some time i've been eyeing Bravo and almost bought it when a friend said "The biggest mistake of your life" and this stopped me. Since then I noticed there are sworn enemies and sworn friends of Bravos & Bravas but I am still confused. Are these cars worth their money or not? I do not want to buy a lemon and spent a fortune fixing stupid problems. I' ve been through all this with my Austin Metro and I believe I deserve a better life. Please answer ASAP.

Go Bravo Go!

Hey DTS,
i think most Bravo users came to this forum when they had problems.
I won't post here all the things in car that work great, but if i find a noise or a faulty thingy, i'll come to look for the answer.

But the car is, without any doubt, a great one.
I'm 100% satisfied with my Bravo HGT 99.
The only thing i could blame, is fuel consumption. But hey, it's a sport car, not an economic japanese one.

Go for it.

Regards,
Gonzalo

go bravo go!

hey DTS.

I also drive a Fiat bravo and i'm also 100% satisfied with my car. So don't hesitate and go get one. I also have tip: check out the message posted on 2 october by Colin, he is selling his Fiat Bravo 100 TD!

Good luck

It is a good choice

I have a 2000 JTD105 and while my friends tell me as well that the car is crap while compared to their golfs and vectras i don't think it is. They spent much more on their cars, mine runs as well as theirs, it's way more good looking than a golf and very very comfortable. Didn't give me any problem as of yet and being a diesel it's very economic. Why pay more for a car that's almost the same, looks worse, runs the same and will be sold in a couple of years anyway ?!

German cars, i don't think so...
