Technical HVAC Bulb replacement

Hey guys

The light behind my daughters HVAC Heating controls seems to have blown. Left side of panel is illuminated, but right side isn't.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for replacement bulb and a YouTube video how to take off the panel to access bulb replacement.

They are T5 wedge. I recommend replacing them with LED's

There are only two, I replaced both of mine when I did it. The a/c indicator is a led.
I got 20 bulbs for about £3 from ebay. I didn't use leds as I wasn't sure whether the dimmer would work with them - if it just reduces the voltage it won't.

I used these: T5 LED wedge

They work fine but are twice as bright as the old bulbs!

tried with the LED wedge, but when i tried to insert they wouldnt seem to fit... i pressed a little harder now the grey insert has pushed back into the white main insert :-(

presume im now looking at taking off the whole flippin dash to get it back

yep, was going to - however, like i mentioned below the grey insert has now pushed back :-(

Anyone know how I can get this grey fitting back through the white frame? Trim came off no problem, but obviously wrong bulb. Wonder whether I could access the back of it by taking off the trim which houses the window buttons? Or maybe taking the radio out???

Do you have any ring opening pliers or circlip pliers ? A tight fitting flat head screwdriver at a angle could pull it out?
