HPI Check Help

I've just done a HPI check on an XC90 I thinking about buying and the results included this

XXXXX was applied to this vehicle on 25/05/2005
This VRM has been recorded as having an outstanding finance agreement
An outstanding finance agreement was recorded on 09/05/2012 against a MERCEDES E280 CDI SPORT A

Is this bad or just something thats been logged against a private plate that was previously on the car but is nothing to worry about now?

Been to see the car, was a mess so I walked away.

Found another with clear HPI so I'm off to Slough in the morning. With a bit of luck I'll be driving this one home.

Might have been linked to the private plate? Luckily my HPi checks have all been clear

I'm pretty sure it was linked to the plate and not the car thats why I went to see view it. Car was a mess when I got there, airbag light on too. Seller was a complete wally ..

No the car was only a few mile away. Looked like a nice clean car in the advert, looked a mess when I saw it. Airbag light on, faulty AWD and the fella selling it didn't have a truthful bone in his body. I left twice as fast as I arrived ..
