how to secure doors?

Hi, without getting stupid replies I was hoping someone may be able to help.

My sister has got a 5 door 54 plate punto and has had her drivers door drilled (with what looks like a 5 mm bit and the srcotes nicked her sat nav etc.

Then, to make matters worse, another set of not so well equipped scrotes have completely chisled out her passenger door lock, not nicked anything, just made a complete mess.

Is there any way to make the doors more secure?

I was thinking of removing the locks completely, then welding a metal plate over the holes, making good the bodywork and fitting remote central locking.

Any constructive ideas would be gratefully received.

Hi,

Scrotes can be a nuisence!!

If your going to go for the Remote Central Locking/no door locks, keep the boot lock in for emergencies (if the battery dies).
