how to remove epas/motor?

hi guys, im new!!

my girlfriend has currently got a 1.2 8v elx punto, the epas light has remained on and there is no pas what so ever

i have look at the motor through the fuse box and it seems ok, all fuses are fine! how can i test the motor? surely you dont need a whole colum?

Hi my Daughter has a punto elx mk2 w reg she is having the same problem seems it may go altogether and may have to replace motor & ecu thats the hole colum. reading up on internet about this problem cost £200 let me know how y get on.

cant i buy a 2nd hand motor and ecu? also i need to know to to remove this, can i remove the motor without taking out the steering colum etc

i have read the link and also pm'd you regarding me not understanding it! its stopped working so its either a new motor or ecu as i've read!

im asking how can i remove it and check it?!?!:bang:
