Went to a mechanic and hooked it up his scanner. Got the following codes. The main ones I'm concerned about is u1706 and u1601

I have a recurring problem with hillholder and abs light along with hand brake light popping up and going away frequently (More like lose connection or grounding problem.) after driving for about 20mins or so

Can someone please help me?

I was going through fiat stillo threads and read something about d4 connectors. Can someone point me as to where it is located in the bravo??

As i remember those error are caused by bad connection on the CAN network.
Basically everything connects to the CAN, and everything can cause that problem.
Start cleaning all connections, dielectric grease, jiggling the connectors etc.
All connections to ECU, Body, ABS etc

As well as checking all connections, the significant code above is the brake switch. There have been several issues with brake switches on various models, and this can cause issues with the ABS system.

Check the brake lights. This may well show an issue with the brake switch. Replacement is cheap and not too difficult and may well fix everything.
