Tuning How to clean BMC CDA?

Whats the best way to clean a BMC CDA filter wantig to give it a good clean before putting it on the car? Some have said use K & N cleaner kit? What do you all think?

yes any make filter cleaning kit will do

you will need it, as they are a closed filter they get very dirty very quick, mine used to loose mpg after about 3 weeks due to dirt, i find open filer induction better most of the dirt will just fall off
