Now typically Haynes set this out to be a real easy job. Looking from the front the right sidelight and both headlights are fine to change but the left sidelight (red arrow) is impossible to access.
Also I’m curious about what the knob is (yellow arrow) as I turned it but it didn’t come off, please don’t say it’s a headlight adjuster as I’ve probably got my headlights pointing at the sky now:( .
Haynes didn’t say anything about removing the headlight but it looks like thats the way its going.

Side light holder needs turned through 90 degrees anti clockwise and out it comes.

If you need a bit more space undo the spring for the indicator and then pop the headlamp forward a wee bit.

I always remove the headlight and indicator to replace any of the bulbs as it makes access and fitment a damn sight easier and saves you dropping the sidelight bulb into the headlight meaning you need to remove the full unit anyway, I think it is a 10mm or lower spanner and once you have released the spring retainer for the indicator and the whole thing comes out easy, 10 min job really.
