just wondering how much people have spent on their fiat in repairs.
NOT mods just repairs!
because iv spent about £500 on repairs in 6 months.

Little Red Devil (L.R.D). Huge ice on its way. Not too far off 1242cc conversion. Still need a rear bumper. "its proper bo i tell thee!"

my car hasnt really toubled me apart from the clutch cables, but i have stock piled them now so hopefully if it does go again i wont be off the road for very long.

ive just brought a new clutch for it and the hand brake has been sorted aswell.

would u class tyres as a repair i spent bout £300+ on them for it

and the usual services are done once a year, so it doesnt take up much money

erm.. If you discount new boots, cam belt, rear shocks, servicing and paint repairs, (partly self inflicted), of about £1400 and mods of about £800 then fault costs would be about £4.50; for a valve train cleaner additive to fix a VVT fault that was going to cost £320 just to get looked at.;)

Next will be front discs and pads £300+ [:0] and rear pads £20.

The car only cost £1999;)

Does my Alfa 156 count in this as its technically a Fiat. If so £2,850 since Christmas :-(

Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 JTD (210BHP)
Fiat Punto JTD (130BHP)
Fiat Barchetta

Gearbox: £75
Front bottom suspension arm: £40
Handbrake cable: £10
Cambelt tensioner: £20
Water pump: £13 (ebay bargain!)
Sump sealant: £5 plus three hours of 'orrible messy oily work [xx(]
Touch-up kit for paintwork: £10
Front window glass (1st break-in): £15
Door lock barrel (2nd one): £ f*** knows!

That's £188 and counting, not too bad for 2 years I guess. Would be about ten times that if I didn't do all the work myself! And I don't want to think what I've spent on mods, servicing parts & consumable stuff like oil [}:)]

Spent nothing yet on repairs, only coz it is 8 months old, and get things/niggles sorted under warranty.

No doubt its first service come September will be interesting

Fiat Ulysse 2.2JTD Eleganza, 53 plate, with options :D Angel Tuning [see ad] tuned ;) Photos and a 'better' avatar still to be sorted - there is always tomorrow

Less than £100 for me. I got all my stuff done under warranty. If I hadn't, I would have been in the £501-600 range.

Smurfhead - would trade as Gaz but bit confusing with another guy with the same car on here with the same name. lol

Seicento Sporting (2001)

my total is about to sky rocket. head gasket has gone so will need to get it done. ?£200? then will need the head skimmed if it has warped ?£? so im left without a car for now as its off the road.

Little Red Devil (L.R.D). Huge ice on its way. Not too far off 1242cc conversion. Still need a rear bumper. "its proper bo i tell thee!"

when it went for servicing and mot it cost me over £300, major problem was the brake pipes and the brake hose has been incorrectly fitted[:0] it had a major kink in it, and the garage told me i was lucky that the brakes didnt fail [:0][:0][:0]
In all aspects of maintence etc. ive spent over £1000 in just over a year - but the car runs sweet now - fingers crossed x

I have a bling* bling* shiny blue thing
