i have already posted about my black punto with white paint spots along the side that i cant shift- used white spirit, clay, polish, t-cut and tar remover.

i have contacted a local detailer who said he would come round to have a look- he said that he could use a more aggressive clay bar that should remove the paint then would repair the damage that the aggressive clay would do.
how long would this take and what would you think it would cost??

also do you think this is the best option?

cheers
pa havent yet tried cellolose thinners

How long is a length of string ;) it depends on the amount of work involved ad what you want your probably better getting several quotes and taking it from there

should find a few in your area here

It cost me £60 for full detailing and correction on my 08 plate GP
but thats because i have known him for ages and work with him normally its about £80 - £100

You wouldn't get a protection detail for under £100, let alone a a correction detail.

As a guide, a Zaino protection detail runs at £110 for a car the size of a 500, a full correction detail would be about £300
