chidlish i know but fun..damn yeah

it just seems silly to wait in the traffic

although do understand if peopel are unaware in case they think they will be fined

im one of those that if is 10-6 you will find me on it at 6.01pm 110%

but just hate those 24hour lanes

if its out of the time aloted for buses then yeh im straight down! even if it is 1 minute over or 1 minute b4!

wise man
seeing we spend so much to allow these lanes
then i
think its fair for us to clog them while we can

"i just belt down em anyway shoutin i am a bus"

At best, you'll get a fine and some points.
At worst, the men in white coats will come to drag you off to the funny farm. :)

I do, but that is because I only passed my test two weeks ago and I'm trained as, of course, it's a minor if you don't recognise an out of hours bus lane and drive in it.

I always drive in them, theres no point waiting in traffic when theres an empty lane next to you, its silly lol.

I failed my first driving test for driving in a bus lane within its opening times lol, thats probably why i drive in them, to get back at the system lol.

@amanda

yep during lessosn the isntructor always says to go in the bus lanes on off peaks hous

in the past this wasnt the cars which is prob why you see alot of the lder generation avoid bus lanes..

dont worry you're forgiven co you have a fiat

either way today the lane was empty out of hours
a car was turnign right in one lane and held up an entire queue as no one gav away on the other side, bus lane empty, easiest drive in my whole life. lol

"noticed the older lot didnt post here"

Wrong! I did, although not in context.

I always use bus lanes outside of their alotted hours.

This thread appears to have been brought back from the depths of time (well, a few months anyway :))

i spend a fair bit of time in glasgow city in bus lanes. I've even had healights flashed at me before by idiots who cant read the big signs telling you what time the restrictions are in place usually 8am-930am and 4pm-6pm.

that not bad
over here localy we have

7-10am and 4-7pm on one road
and
7-7pm no joy on that

"Old drivers never use bus-lanes?"......I thought about that for a minute. I'm an old git, but I use them, but on the whole I reckon older drivers do avoid them.

Fact is most are paranoid about cameras/fines et al. Even when there's no need to be, the logic being...."Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!"

Or, could be they just don't notice the signs!
