looking to lower my bravo by 40mm... is there any issues in doing it that low in terms of scraping on speed bumps and the like? any replies much appreciated

cheers :)

if you have 17's i think youd be fine mate,Even if you have standard alloys, youd be fine.

I got 60 on mine and is sat on its rim pretty much and does scrape on speed bumps (fr+rr) well i have got the bumper extensions on tho..Im looking to higher mine to around 40mm,maybe 30 on the front after xmas :)

i think it wouldnt be a problem, my friends have their cars lowered by 60 mm and they ok with the bumps, ofcourse driving more like disabled on them :p

oh right cheers, it would be running on the standard 15" hlx alloys with 55 tyres, obviously i realise i'd have to be a bit careful on speed bumps, just don't want to start causing damage as the fuel tanks on bravo's seem to sit pretty low at the back aha

Fuel tank is plastic, its not a big deal, you should be more worried about oil sump

yer that ^ 40mm should be fine mate, wouldnt worry too much, just go slow over bumps :)
