How low should you go?

I lowered mine 40mm in PI springs but how low can you go?

If your travelling at speed and you break HARD and and try to turn hard ( trying to avoid something ) you may have a problem because there will be a hell of alot of weight on those 2 front wheels.

It could be a nightmare if the car is full!!!

when I bought the springs I could have got some Gmax 55mm lowering springs. They would look great with a set of 17" wheels (215 40 17 tyres) but may be to dangerous?

what the hell, I'll ask again..

Did you measure before swopping?
ie. did you actually gauge what the drop had been in reality after the new ones went on?
If you can measure from your wheel arch apex to the centre of the wheel, we can try and compare rather than speculate
