I often find that although I do receive traffic information through the radio, it's not for where I am!
To give you an example, today we drove from East London to Southend-On-Sea in Essex. We picked up traffic info three times. The first was from BBC Kent, which is across the Thames from where we were driving. The second was from BBC London, which was at that time about thirty miles behind us, and it was only in Southend town centre that we picked up a report from BBC Essex.
So how does the radio select which traffic info broadcasts it will play?
