I currently drive a Skoda Fabia, but when i start my job after graduating in June i am going to buy a GP. I found this forum after chatting to Sharkrider on the Briskoda forum, i was originally going to buy a mk2 Fabia, but fair to say he showed me the Fiat shaped light. Didn't realise what you could get for your money from the model, safer, more fun and better looking. I havent yet decided if im going to go for the 1.9 GPS or be more sensible and go for the 1.3 dynamic, only £100 difference in insurance so think i might take the oppurtunity to enjoy myself while im young and before mr Brown makes it financially impossible to drive, but anyway.
So ive been lurking around the forums for a few days now looking and reading up on the GP and all your experiences, a few problems eh? As a Skoda driver im over the badge snobbery that can afflict Fiats, and anyway if theres a problem, its what the warranty is for isnt it. Safe to say that reading up has made up my mind on the GPS over Fabia even if the potential £2300 in my back pocket didnt
. On that note, in your guys experinces how willing are dealers to match prices from the likes of Broadspeed and Drivethedeal etc, cos theres some massive savings over list. Even better with the 0% finance offers, are they struggling to sell these cars?
