The headlining in my 45CL is sagging above the rear seats. This wasn't really a problem until the weekend, when the back of the headlining finally gave way too. I managed to lever back into place the four lugs on the headlining that go into the slots above the bootlid. This is fine for now, but now it's collapsed once I am sure it will happen again.

So how do I remove the headlining. I can see how the lining goes in at the back of the car but were are the fastenings in the front section??

Is the headlining of the MK 1 Panda different to that in a MK 2 Panda?, in order that I can replace it with a newer lining. I've had a look at the one in my 750L, but it's got a rubber roof, so hasn't been much help.

Hi,
There a quite a number of variations on the headlinings. However, most are held in a little trough running along the sides and by some moulded pegs on the lining itself, slotting into holes above the windscreen and tailgate. Once all of these things are in position, a push-stud is fitted dead centre of the lining.
Your first step is to remove the stud from the centre, from then on you'll have to 'busk it'!
Fitting them is a doddle. Removing them without breaking them isn't :(
