HOW DO I remove a rear quarter glass panel? what tools i need etc

You may have seen my other post about car break in, just wondering how to remove the rear glass panel to replace as im sure i have an insurance excess. All help is greatly appreciated!

Smash the excess glass back until you can see the butyl then just get a long bladed stanley knife and run it under the butyl all the way around.

so can i attempt a diy repair on the window u reckon?

You could do but you'd need the right primer again for the butyl to stick to, a proper butyl gun and some suction cups to hold the window. With the right tools it'd take 2 minutes.
