How Do I Fix This?

How do I fix the milometer on my Brava. It went dim then just disapeared completely. Is it a garage job or can I do it myself? What fuse should I check?

I'd guess its a dead bulb. Got a haynes manual?

My bulb went about 6 months ago(or so i thought), i could see it fine during the day. It was a job i never got round to. Anyway got into the car as normal on tuesday and the bloody thing lit up. A few people have said try thumping the dash, but i did'nt bump or knock anything as i got in. I would've thought that if something was loose and needed bumping, 6 months of driving on Glasgow roads would've done the trick.

Maybe its another FIAT thing

My brava has done this too, i cant even see it in the day time.
Rab has fixed it by replacing the bulb, ill do that when i get round to it, rather than pay fiat £300 for a new dash.

The thing is there 4 different bulbs it could be and fiat cant tell you what one it is. The are £2 each.
Does any one know what colour plastic holder the bulb has?

justsummising here but unless all the bulbs are connected on a series circuit they wouldnt all go out at the same time, I dont know if they are, normally theyre on parrallel circuits arent they!? Anyway theres a chance it could eb the (try and spell it) reostat, the dimming device. Just a thought not a definite....
