Hi now i have the paint code i would like to colour code my fron t and rear bumper to make it look better but im not sure where to start.
the bumper is not smooth so would i have to smooth clean then prime and paint if this is correct what products should i use:confused: and what step should i do them in. i would like them to look like this
does anyone know a good thread or a vid on youpube thanks luke

Clean, dry, panel wipe. Sand with wet or dry to about 400 grit, panel wipe, spray with plastic primer (anything else will just crack), (assuming metalic) 2 or 3 base coats, clear coat.

It's much harder to do well than you think -- you're at the absolute limit of aerosols and the sheer size of the bumpers makes getting a good finish difficult. Your car paint factor (yellow pages) will advise on exact products.

You should inform your insurers, but they'd be unlikely to increase your bill.
 
try to do the hole bumper with each can to keep away from patching nice even coats if it dosent look fully covered don't go mad get it on the next pass take your time ! preparation will make or brake a paint job!

oh and make a thread about your car and try to keep questions within your thread makes the forum look more tidy (y)

Thanks for the info going to give it ago soon when iv got the cans and bits and bobs. iv sprayed a few things just neve plastic bumpers hopefully will look alot better colour coded thanks again
