Technical How do I access under dash, middle seat footwell?

I need to know what size and type of screwdriver/torx thing is needed to remove the plastic cover in the middle passenger footwell.

The reason is my heater fan is not working. No matter what speed I put it on, auto, 1,2,3,4 the fan makes no sound.

I read else where on here I need to access under the dash to get to a small black square box.

If I could answer my own question.
Found out there are normal screws to undo then larger allen key bolts that go into the floor. 1 on the passenger side 2 on the drivers.
Now I have the plastic footwell cover out where do I find the fan switch controller??

Can't believe the amount of rubbish down there!

I take it you have checked the fuse?
