Personally I've had no "real" problems with my car, only the door handle not working lol (Funny story really).

I think, as said, it's pot luck, We've got 5 cars atm and none have any problems (3 Germans, 1 Japanese, and an Italian Beast), yet my dad old Porsche had loads of problems (new doesn't) and my mom's old pug had loads also. It's luck of the draw. Remember not everyone's like me, usually its only people with problems with their car that look for this sort of site.
I only found it due to an article on Sub fitting lol.

Just my ten penneth .

I had a Citroen C2 VTS from new and kept it for 18 months...nightmare! In no particular order:-

Window rubber came off drivers door
Coil failed causing serious miss fire - went back twice for this!
Engine sensor fault - car recalled
Rear brakes resonating when used reversing - calipers repaired
Gearbox linkage adjusted - kept crunching into third gear!
Best of all! Inlet manifold fell off - mounting studs sheared!!! WTF!!!!
Fuel injector fault - in twice for this two, two injectors replaced
Paint peeling from boot lid lip. Didn't get this fixed as it couldn't be seen with the boot closed.

As you can see I would be pretty nervous keeping the VTS longer than it's warranty!

So far with the GPS:-

New dash facia - slight crack around vent noticed on first day. Repaired under warranty. No squeeks or rattles, so pretty happy with that.

Fingers crossed.... ;)
