ok so iv been driving a few weeks and everyhting is fine.
the puntos on my dads policy with CIS.

rung up 2day to find out how much more i wud have to pay to fit alloys, they tell me i cant fit any aftermarket alloys, i have to have wheels that would come out of a fiat factory and i think they even have to b the same size which is 13s:bang:

obviously im pretty peed off, wot wud i b best doing ? are there charges incurred to cancel a policy ? how risky is it 4 me to fit aftermarket wheels neway ? wot wud be my best option if i were to stick to there rules ?

basically wot wud u lot do in my situation ???

You would get a percentage of the premium back depending how long there's left to run on the policy.

Modding and not declaring is NOT recommended - if caught, your policy will be invalidated and you could may well face court action for driving without valid insurance, as well as footing any bills for a claim which the insurance co has refused due to invalid insurance.

I would ask them how much extra you would have to pay in order to change the policy agreement to include modifications. It may be possible, but if you've got insurance through a broker then it may be that you're locked in to one specific product. CIS I'm sure do allow you to have modifications on some policies, so it's always worth asking.

nah CIS wont let me do any modifications, even if i pay more. iv gone for some fiat alloys from a fiat maindealer on ebay.
