yeah seen that b4, i think its nice aswell! the kit suits the stilo well, not to keen on the tinted windscreen tho

harsh words there RR. a lot of people really like it. a lot of people probably think all alfa's are too fussy, or your old fave the tipo is plain ugly..

no alfas arent fussy, they are class motors, the stilo is a heap o ****e n it always will be, would advise against any one getting one, not a good car if you like your wallet!!

People said the same about the Bravo. Ozric hated the Stilo when he first drove one. However, a second drive of a different model gave him a different opinion.
I wasnt keen on the stilo's when they first appeared. All the good bits from the bravo had been taken away (curves and lights) but do actually like the 3 door model now.

Agree with you there Old Boy, but the 5 door remains pug-ugly. The one in the picture is grossly overdone and looks like it should be driven by a Max-Powered 18 yr old.
As for Alfa's being fussy - I don't think so, but as for my old favourite, the Sedicivalvole; I'm wise enough to realise that it too has had it's day is looks old now. Very old.
Alfa Romeo's ....fussy? Err, you picke dteh wrong word there. Stylish is the one you were looking for. But the 146 is the ugly duckling!

Most of the Stilo's I have seen modded look quite nice. The only problem is the front quarter view as shown above is its BEST angle! Every time I see the rear of it I just hate it. My main reasoning for this is I think the rear quarter of the Bravo is one of it's (many) great viewing angles.
I challenge someone to show me a nice picture of the rear end of the Stilo.

Just think they ruined the boot and rear arches. I don't like the way it's recessed in so far.

The rear of the Stilo 3 door is not that bad:
and it's so obvious that it's derived from the Bravo:
The Stilo at the top of this post just looks like and Audi A3... the front bumper, the way the kit alters the lines, even the alloys look like chromed versions of the ones Audi are putting on the A3 at the moment.

Hate to correct you there Mr Wim but I have only driven the one and it was extremely poor!
My hatred of the 3-door has subsided a little since those early days but I still think it's a shame that it looks as bad as it does. When you consider what Alfa did with the 147 I think the Stilo is a very poor show. The Bravo could always hold it's own against a 145 but the 147 whups the Stilo without breaking into a sweat!

Have to say though, this one looks superb:
It's someone from the fiatforum's I think, no sure who. Makes me wanna get one!
Although, exactly the opposite to the bravo, IMHO the front is the most attractive end of the stilo, and the back is just bearable. (As standard, the front end of my Bravo has to be it's least attractive part!)
