Hi Everyone!
Some of you may have read my last forum about my head gasket going. Well update is that it hasn't been fixed yet due to money probs, so i'm currently driving it locally.

Anyway, I've got another problem. Yesterday I installed in my Sony stereo from my previous car into my Punto. Well, at first it worked then I noticed that the whole stereo wasn't fixed in properly into the interior. So... I pulled it out and pushed it back in. All of a sudden the screen on the stereo went blank and stopped working.

I've tried taking it out and fiddling around with it but still no change. I've also tried putting back the original stereo back into the car and that doesn't work either.

Does anyone have any clues to what might be the problem. I've noticed that my clock and the lights next to the clock and sunroof don't work aswell. Could this all be a blown fuse or something?

Any feedback would be very helpful.
Thanks Everyone.

Aziz.

probaly a fuse one of the ones on the drivers side of the dash, behind the little shelf thing you have to remove 2 screws then you will see lots of fuses.

First check the wiring behind the stereo, there's probably a short circuit that caused a fuse to blow.

Hi Guys!
Found the problem! It was just a blown fuse as I suspected before. Went out this morning and bought about pack of 30 fuses just to replace the one.

Anyway thanks for the feedback!

Aziz.
