hi im new to this site, found as i was goggling about my problems with my car.
passed my test in jan(finaly after 2 faila, lol) so my grandad passed me down his 1999 fiat seicento, great first wee car,no power steering tho,
was out todat drving down to drop my son of and for the second time in 21/2 mths the clutch cable as snapped:bang:bang:
i've been reading this site and see this happens all the time with these cars! you would think fiat would want to solve this problem? costing me £70 eveytime from a garage(n) are these easy to fix diy? or should i just trade it in?

I don't think they should be snapping that quickly, may be a sign of other problems.

Like the clutch release bearing on its way out.

Welcome to the forum anyway Lorz
