Firstly, I've done a bit of searching on these forums, but its mainly just legal arguments for and against...

I've just acquired some cheap Marea Poly headlight units for my Bravo...is it legal to use HIDs with these(couple of posts said yes as the lens is clear)?

If so...what kit do I need? Found a post saying a H1 kit, but a quick search on ebay came up with H4 and H7 for Fiats....(note: no i wont buy a cheapo kit from ebay)

Thanks in advance

Yr friendly noob, Aaron

not legal in Poly headlights, but you have a better chance of getting away with it as the beam patern will be ok. check the bulb that is in them, if it has 1 conector on it its a h1 if it has 2 its a h7 and if it has 3 its a h4, i dont reckon it will be a h4

get the kit from hids direct

Its not legal im afraid as the lamps were never designed to take those type of bulb (n)

All Bravos and Mareas are H1s and if you do get HIDs i can write up a guide on how to fit them, er, for show purposes... I recomend 6000K as this gives brilliant lighting performance (y)
