Well im onto Punto number two after a disaster 4 yrs ago with my last one. My last one was a 98 1.2 sx60 and it went on fire. That was the end of that! I moved on to own several Fords Then switched to Vauxhall, mainly oil burners! My partner has bought me a project for the coming months in the form of a 1.1 punto sx 55. Its reasonably clean for its yr, 1995. It has 55k on the clicker counter and the interior is rough.

I have a major concern about the engine! It starts fine but if I put the boot down too quickly from idle or under acceleration it just splutters and dies, although it doesnt stall. If anyone knows what the problem could be please let me know! Also under the airfilter there is a section of the engine which looks like it should have some sort of pipe or hose coming from it, is there something missing??

One other thing I noticed was that to get to the rear lights I have to unscrew the interior and possibly the seat belt just to replace the bulb for the brake light. Is there another way of doing this??

I look forward to your replies and to many hours of sensible Fiat discussions and technical help if further reguired!!

Thanks for reading

Sensible Fiat discussion? You have come to the wrong place!!:D

Nah only kidding. Get yourself down to the Punto section and use the search option to try find your info. Failing that ask down there, it's where you will get the best replys. (y)
