Panda Hi

Panda Hi

It's not really going t be any help but the filters I use are 501721298 Crosland Oil Filter. I guess I just got luck the first time i ordered.

Crosland filters are rubbish. ECP bought the Crosland name from the administrators when Crosland went bust, and now just put the name onto whatever parts they can source most cheaply.

I'd suggest folks avoid these and buy a reputable brand instead; I've always found Mann to be pretty good.

Renault DCI now sold and Panda on the road,
Panda turns into corners better and as better steering lock,
steering is lighter so are the brakes though both stop well.
Clio pulls better at low revs but Panda pulls well at higher revs,
More room for my size 10's under the dash on the Panda,
Clio gearbox slightly better but like the Panda clutch
Didn't like the cornering on the Panda at first as it turned in very
quickly and then threatened to over steer a quick check on my tracking
mats said it had a lot of toe in, adjusted it to just a touch of toe in and
am now happy with it.
If it turns out as reliable as the Renault I will be well pleased.

Hi again
The remote key could do with a new case, only problem after removing the screw
under the badge, it is a 2006 mod with blue fob 3 button and the battery in a compartment
were the back lower half of the case comes off not the type shown on most how to's
that have the battery behind the folded key, the top of the case will open but it is still
held right at the bottom, do I just need to use more force or is there something I
don't know about?

Key cases from eBay work as long as you have the innards to go in them. I have done two and both times they have been fine.
