Punto (Mk2/2b) Hi

Hi all

New to this forum, but could do with some advice on my HGT. The outside temp gauge is showing at 81c. The heating is coming out cold and I am unsure why.
Any ideas?

As its an HGT it probably needs moving out of the punto abarth section into the punto section,

External temp sensor pokes out the under side of the drivers door mirror, have you damaged this at all or any of the wiring to the drivers door ?

Thanks for that, but tried the door and no damage. Wasnt sure if it was maybe the air con that needed to be regassed?
How do I change to the Punto section?

It's ok it's been moved (they have staff here for that sort of thing

What year car is this before we go on?

Is it the temp gauge on the multifunction display with the clock and cars mileage?

As previously stated outside temp sensor or wiring to it nothing to do with aircon other than the aircon will be using that sensor to gauge the outside temperature for the climate control system fitted to your car

wouldnt say this is the aircon because my HGT still gets hot air without using aircon.

thanks for that will take it apart and see if there is anything inside. No damage to windmirror, but will give it a go.
