At last! I've become the keeper of a Fiat. It's been on the possibilities list for decades.
My Mazda2, which my wife loved, was rudely rear ended. He didn't mean to do it (so why didn't he take more care? I know the answer as I also once spoiled the vehicle in front)... so with only 20k on the clock and owned from nearly new how do you find a replacement for this 1.4 manual/auto..
...then I had an Idea.. 1.4 DuaLogic. I drove it home tonight. Wow!
Imagine my surprise when I found that just by coincidence all the roads have been resurfaced while we were at the dealers.
As I looked in the mirror at the wife getting gradually smaller and smaller in the loan Astra I started to worry that she had a mechanical problem ..or the dog had been sick.
It turns out she was happily gazing at the little blue Fiat in front and glancing at the moon and the stars...and making sure she didn't risk running into the back of me..
A very pleasant drive home and after a couple of seconds walking round the car twice we jumped in and played fetch with the dog and kicked a ball about. I think we'll like this.;)

Good on you, ive got the 1.2 sport, had it for 11 days and it is still putting a smile on my face, i keep taking the long way home from work just to enjoy it, i had an N reg BMW coupe before i got my 500 which i had and still have for 5 years but i wouldnt go back even if someone payed me :D has less power but such a beautifully handling car. Enjoy it my friend :)

Yep, some cars are nice to get from A to B and some make you want to go via K and G. (y) This is apparently one of the latter.

Mine lived just a few miles from the factory in Turin for the first couple of years, possibly during it's warranty, which was interesting. There's one previous owner from new with Dr. before their Italian name. Seems odd choosing a right hand drive car for Italy but it seems to have had one owner from new who had it serviced several times in the Manchester area... maybe a doctor living here and visiting home and incorporating the service while they were there??

More than likely with the service thing, wouldnt like to see his/her fuel bill for that run :D and yrs, as for the driving, even after 2 weeks, i still keep pushing the car on the drive home from work, soon to have it chipped to get the best from the 1.2, its the low down power im after :)

I just did an 8.1 mile run into Sheffield, uphill, downhill, Friday rush hour traffic ........... and averaged 39.5mpg.
I did get my foot down a couple of times on the uphill bits.
I'm happy as can be with that. Don't tell me the figures aren't accurate cos I'm happiest when I'm happy.:D

..oh, three people and a small dog on board. Eco button NOT pressed.
