Hi folks.
My daughter fell heir to my old Mk2 Punto 8v 1.2. Today she thinks this bit fell off! Can anyone identify what it is for me? It's about the size of a dinner plate. I'm thinking (hoping) nothing too serious!

Hi there i would say it's the heat shield if your cat is in front of the radiator as mine is, i removed mine before it fell off also as all the bolt holes had corroded away.
Well since mine was removed i find if i'm sat in traffic the temprature rises pretty fast i presume thats because the cat is right in front of the radiator hence the heat shield, short term i would think it will be ok.
