500L Hi one and all - from Portsmouth UK. Have just joined; ver impressed by the Forum's reputation mutual assistance and problem-solving.

The air-con on my 2014 Fiat 500L is delivering cool air [as required] to the vents at the driver's side, but only hot air to the front passenger vents. I am told this is because 'there is a shorting-out in the air con split-flap'. Not sure what this means, but I believe there is a forum-member in Southampton who may be able to assist (or) advise .... any ideas??

Look in Croma section about a RESET of the Climate System.. you might be lucky

Search on here is very good

The flaps are no longer driven by cables..but by small elecric motors

These can be problematic..
