Technical hi newbie with a problem

Hi everybod, Please can anyone help me.A friend of mine is trying to change my alternator on my fiat marea weekend 16 sx petrol v 1999. And he said he is having trouble getting the old one out. Does anyone have a diagram or know were i can find one so he can follow it????? Or any advice how to get it out???? Desperate now as hes been doing it all weekend and im lost without a car. Hi Claire, welcome to the FF.

Here's the pages from the Marea manual that deal with removing the alternator from the 1.6 engine. Seems like you have to remove an engine mounting and lower the engine a bit.
