I have just bought a X reg brava 1.2 sx with 52K for my son, It has no history and only one blue key. It is in really nice condition inside and out. No cream under the Oil cap. I paid £800

The MOT is due in Feb so I will have it serviced and cambelt done for that.

Also is it a real disaster not having the red key. (I believe I can get one from Datarecall.)

I have just had the car delivered and it looks good, My son is happy with it and thats the main thing, I have found a white card in the door pocket which says on one side

"Fiat Security CODE"
and on the other

Model type AD182 H2
Serial No. FA1092Y2682xxx
Code No. 44xx
The serial no. does NOT match the cars VIN.

So to my question,
Should this be the same as the VIN or is it the Immobilizer code and key code?

Hi and welcome, I don't know about your VIN code question.

But I don't have a red key for one of my cars, and I know I should not tempt fate, but I've not needed it thus far, 5 years...so touch wood
